burned/artificial smell when using floral scented soaps

I am getting a slight burned smell only in the shower with most of my floral scented cold-process soaps. They smell wonderful until I shower with them. Could this have something to do with my recipe?
It's happened with LILAC, BLACK RASPBERRY VANILLA, and others. Foodie scents give me no problems at all.

Where did you get them? Are they soap safe? Some FOs just turn yucky in CP for some people's noses - I have an OMH that smells like play dough to me, but not to most other people.

I have to say ... if you're wondering if the problem is related to your recipe ... might want to tell us what the recipe is? Weights of all ingredients please -- not mixed percents and weights. And the method you use to make the soap might also be helpful.
