My Taiwan cut came out okay but I probably wasted an entire bar evening out the screw ups. My loaf cutter isn't meant for this kind of cutting...without selling my first born, what are the best cutters for these type of bars?
The cutters that work best for these divider bars, where you cut horizontally, are log splitters. I have never bought one b/c they are somewhat expensive, and I don't so enough of these swirls to make it worthwhile for me. I just cut the loaf into thirds or so vertically (like with a regular swirl) to make each piece easier to handle/cut straight, then cut those in half horizontally, then cut those into individual bars.
