I purchased this beeswax pastilles (white) from columbus foods a while ago thinking I would use it in soap. I have not used them in soap making at all. I am wondering if I could use this particular beeswax in candles instead?
I have done a lot of searching online, including this site for making beeswax candles, but they all show beeswax sheets. There is nothing out there pertaining to using the beeswax pastilles. I am wondering if there is a reason behind this?
Is it just because everyone makes soy candles or is it that this particular beeswax cannot be made into candles?
I cannot find any info on the flash-point or melting temps either. As I stated I have not used this at all.
I would really like to make jar candles out of this, but I don't want to start the house on fire doing it either! LOL
Anyone that can help I would really be grateful.
