I was able to get a pound each of bayberry and Laurel WAX (not oil). Any suggestions on how to best incorporate these into soaps? I would love to retain the scent, but know the saponification may destroy that.

I was thinking I could use either to replace beeswax in a recipe. I was also considering making a faux Aleppo soap using 90% OO and 10% laurel wax (since I have been unable to find the oil available in the U.S.).

Any thoughts or suggestions?
