Balsam Peru in CP Soapmaking

Can anyone offer any tips on successfully incorporating this resin in CP soap? I tried to thin it with a carrier oil and it was a disaster. I through out the small bottle I tried to mix it in.

resins need to be broken up as small as you can and infused in warm oil.
