Dear members!
Hope everyone is doing well

I am relatively new to soap-making. I have making some batches of soap with the attached recipe calculated on soapcalc.net

However, I made a mistake while copying the recipe and added 10 more grams of castor oil. The final soaps look fine.

Could this cause a problem? and how can I fix it.

Would highly appreciate the help of more experienced soap makers out there!

kindest regards,
Hessa

10 grams is not going to make that big of a difference in that size recipe. Carry on.

My rule of thumb is that if I stay under raising the SF 2%, I just keep on going. If you are masterbatching a bunch, then you can just mix more of the other oils to make up for it, but that gets very tiresome having to add more of everything in a large enough quantity to make another whole batch. Not to mention that you are human, and therefore going to make small errors on a routine basis. So, I lower my SF to start with, and do my best.
