I wondered how you handled this. I have MP soap as one of my ingredients in a scrub. Do you list all of the ingredients in the soap in your scrub? Or do you list "glycerine soap" or something like that? Thanks!

It's lovely that the supplier is helping you, but if it were me, I'd try my recipe as is with a different base just to rule it out for my own piece of mind. I might also try a different mold - just once to see if it changed anything.

I've only used flavor oils for lip balms, though I've seen several recipes online for using EO's. I've wondered, myself. ;)

Well, what I've found is that I far prefer a scrub without the E-wax but *with* the stearic acid. It just feels more like an oil and sugar scrub (which I like) but holds together well. Also, the scrub washes off better with the S.A. than when I leave it out. :)

I'd never used stearic before and was experimenting to get a thicker scrub. I tried one version with the same butter to oil ratio, but added a small bit of M&P soap and it helped. But I'll try decreasing the butters. I want a thick scrub, but not a solid scrub, so that's why I have the butters...

I've been experimenting with M&P soap for a while, and to get the colors I want and the effects I want, I really need to use the clear soaps, BUT, they always leave my skin feeling so dry it's almost sticky.
