Hi! I'd like to make some goats milk baby soaps with the goats milk powder I have. How much do I need to add to my M&P base? I know I need to add it to a little distilled water to dissolve it, but i'm not sure about the amounts. Is it 1tsp per pound base, or 1tbs? Thanks.

I've hear putting a tiny shred of blue soap in with the clear makes it look clearer. Bubble issue might be because you're heating the soap up too hot to start with. Heat at a low to mid temp setting (will need to be heated a bit longer this way) & see how you go.

Yes that recipe, but I don't have any natural liquid soap so I used glycerol. Might have to use more colour too (I think my micas are NQR)

I bought some homemade goats milk soap from a seller, to use on my face, and it smells awful. Like burnt vomit!! Is that what it's supposed to smell like?

Good! :). I don't plan on selling it, (using it for gifts), but would like to label it properly anyway so they know what's in it.

If I'm using a m&p base that's less than 5% glycerin, can you still call it a glycerin melt & pour base?

Interesting! There must be a reason (other than helping with wrinkles) why they add it. Maybe texture or something.....or perhaps they're just trying to be trendy lol

I've had some for 2 weeks that haven't changed colour, so I guess I'm safe with those then! With the new FO I'll just pre-warn the people i'm giving the soaps to that they may turn brown but are perfectly useable & not going off :) Thanks for your help!
