    thank you! i used quite a high proportion - 75ml heavy cream in 800ml oils. i used the milk in oil method (ime it helps to keep the uncoloured parts paler and when it's blended in the oils, it seems to scorch less) and superfatted at 2% to compensate for the extra fat in the heavy cream.

    your soap looks really nice! the uneven colours could be uneven curing from the shape of the mould - very likely if your rectangular bars do not have the same issue. if you're looking for a better colour fidelity with other colourants it might be helpful to experiment with ice cubes in your lye...
