    Question about lye

    And to add to this the soap has Tetrasodium EDTA listed in the ingredients but other than that, it's all oils and colours. It also claims to be olive oil soap but lists nothing but other oils in the ingredients (tallow, palm, cocoa butter and so on)

    Thank you all so much!! And MagiaDellaLuna I used 1.5 tbsp sweet orange EO and 1 tbsp spanish lavender eo in a 32 oz batch. I used a bit more orange because spanish lavender is quite overpowering. It's definitely one of my favorite combos as well. And April, thank you so much for comparing...

    So I haven't posted anything for a while because I've been super busy with kids but I managed to get this batch made on saturday. It smells really great if I do say so myself :) It's sweet orange and spanish lavender with tussah silk. Can't wait to use it!!!! Thanks for looking :)...

    Hi everyone, I'm looking for a wooden log mould with a silcone liner somewhere in Australia. Does anyone know of a supplier of these? I know you can make your own silicone liner but that is definitely not my specialty :) Thanks everyone and happy soaping!!

    "natural" or not?

    Well I'm leaving "natural" out all together. I don't sell my soaps but I do give out to family and friends and it's nice to have a label on them I think. Thanks all for your opinions!! :)

    What does everyone think about using coconut oil in their facial bars? From the research I've done it looks like coconut oil is very comedogenic. What does everyone prefer? :)
