    Beeswax

I am not joking it went everywhere.....it was a large pot full of hot dirty liquid beeswax. I ended up redoing the kitchen walls as the oil from it had left stains on the paint work that I couldnt get off. That was three years ago and there is still small traces of it in places if you look closely.

    Oil Shelf Life/Disposal

Does it have a best before date on it? If not I would do what others have suggested. I always now check the BBD and store in a cool place.

Soap soft after 48 hours.. what did I do wrong?

Thats what I use. When I'm using a lot of soft oils I use the lowest % of water, when using harder oils I use a higher %, it was recommended to me a long time ago but I cant remmember why  If I am unsure about a recipe, first attempt is made with the highest % of water.
