    stain remover bars, any ideas?

I bought a stain stick last year at a craft fair. It was cold process soap, but its texture was almost waxy. It was amazing! Just wet the stick and rub it on the stain. Toss treated clothes in the wash it works like magic. It even got blood out of my scrubs! I want to make my own but cant figure...

    CPOP Dillema [question]

I made a batch of CP (all veg) tonight with the intention of putting it in the oven (170 for 1 hour). 10 minutes into the oven part of the process, my husband decided he wanted me to bake a pizza. Grrr. So, I took the soap out and put the lid on it. I turned the oven up, baked his pizza and...

Do you get soap ash with your coffee soaps? I noticed this batch has a light "dusting" of it on the edges... know how I can prevent more from forming?

Oatmeal, Coconut Milk, Honey & Vanilla

Made another experimental batch today. Oatmeal, coconut milk, honey and vanilla. It smells amazing! I tried to soap as cold as possible, but the coconut milk and honey still managed to caramelize a bit. I hope it doesn't get too brown. I guess if it does, I can just blame it on the vanilla!! lol...

    Merlot & Rice milk... Experiment

Ok, interesting development.... It's only been about 3 hours since I cut the soap and it is now ALL the outer color. The middle went from creamy peanut butter color to dark brownish red... I love it!!! I'll post pics in a bit!

    Merlot & Rice milk... Experiment

I was so excited this morning to unmold my creation! It looked very nice, dark brownish/red.... I was suprised to find that when it was cut it revealed a creamy, peanut butter colored soap with just a thin layer of the wine/brown. More suprising was the un-gelled guest loaf. It's...

    Merlot & Rice milk... Experiment

Ok, so today I decided to make a wine soap for the first time! I had gotten a bottle of Merlot from a bride that I made soap for for. I made 150 rose soaps for her as wedding favors and she gifted me a bottle of wine. Well I'm not a red wine gal, I like white wines.. So I opened the bottle the...
