Soap beats hand sanitizers

Years ago I got at bit while pro grooming it. Manager took me to ER and the do asked if I had wash it with soap. She said soap kills 99% of all bacteria better than hand sanitizers according to her. I told her that I had used some tea tree shampoo and she told me to go an wash it with soap in the bathroom then gave me a tetnis shot. LOL that hurt more than the cat bite.
