plant pigments- mircozet- do they last?

I came upon this site offering micronized plants to be used as pigments. are they stable enough for soap? does anyone know?

Many of them can be used in soap. The issue is whether the color will hold up against the lye and then not fade during cure.

yes, it will depend on how stable they are in a high pH environment - or what color they turn in one!

the anthocyanins are typically blue at a high pH, although all the "red/pink" colorants seem to be in that chemical group. the green is iffy. the blue is probably stable at high pH.

don't know how they hold up to the heat of the process, though.
