Avocado puree soap, with green clay and alkanet root. ImageUploadedBySoap Making1417515608.893316.jpgImageUploadedBySoap Making1417515627.029818.jpg

That looks great. I love avocado oil and am a little intrigued by a "avocado puree". :) I'm thinking guacamole soap.

well, replaced half of my water (goat's milk, in this case) with pureed avocado (added to the hot oils, before the lye water). Worked a treat.
Tested lather, excellent, will have to wait 6 weeks now to try the soap. Have high hopes, however.

OK, cmzaha and loopyloop, now I've just added ANOTHER soap I have to try making. Sheesh! How is the avocado soap curing? Does it turn brown, or stay that light greenish color?
