I have a mold that is 8 x 8 and I poured it to about 1.5 inches deep, 2 lbs of oil. If I cut it into 9 bars they will be a little about 4 oz each or since I'm just giving these away, should I cut them a little smaller?
It really depends on why you're giving them away. If they're gifts, particularly to people you know, I'd say four ounces sounds fine. If they're samples, perhaps smaller so that you have more soap to give to more people.
