I just wanted to drop a line and say "hi!" I'm fairly new to soap making and have an interest in men's skin care. I'm currently developing test batches of shave soap as well as aftershave lotions and pre-shave oils. Once I launch that line of product, I will also start developing pre-shave soaps, such as a glycerin soap, and possibly other men's skin care products.
The biggest issue I'm having is with my aftershave lotion. It's quite thick (not necessarily a bad thing) and doesn't absorb into the skin as quickly as I'd like. It feels slightly greasy immediately after applying, but leaves the skin feeling very nice once it does absorb. I'm not sure if I should try swapping carrier oils or adding more water to the mix, but I will be searching around the forums looking for an answer!
