Hello from the UK

Hi everyone,
My name is Jooles and I am from the Uk. I am new to soap making and have had a go at some melt and pour but found this a little unsatisfying. I am desperate to move on to Cold Process Soap making but the more I look into it the more confused I am getting. Could anybody please tell me where I should start or recommend any books to me. I love the look of your soaps on this forum and can't wait to get started.

Thanks for the response and I will have a look at these books. I did order 2 yesterday from Amazon and hoping they arrive today. What type of soap have you made and was it successful.

After reading many sources, I created recipes using the SoapCalc lye calculator. So far, olive oil, coconut base, some with veg shortening some with smaller amounts of castor, grapeseed, soy, sunflower and some including honey with oats. All have been successful so far.
