Hi all. Been a long time lurker, but am a new forum poster. I have been making cp soap since 2016. What started as a new hobby has blossomed into my obsession.

Word got out, and now am starting a small business.

I have lots of questions, but not enough time to read through all the myriad of threads and posts. I apparently seem to have a knack for getting deleted and moved for posting in all the wrong places.

Any and all suggestions welcomed.

1. Have eo supplier questions...where to shop?
2. Tips on master batching
3. Tips on creating or buying software that will track recipes, suppliers, inventory and costs.

If you can point me to the right threads, i would be so grateful.

I don't use EO's or soaping software so can't help you there.

But the following are three good threads on masterbatching. I learned how to masterbatch from the IrishLass post on the first thread. The second is a good general thread. The third (which is cited within the second), is a write up by @DeeAnna, our resident chemistry expert on all things soapy (and everything else, really, but we count on her for the soap/B&B stuff.)

Generally if you see or search for commentary by DeeAnna, IrishLass, @AliOop or @cmzaha on a given subject you can count on it being correct, based on wide experience, and well-explained. There's plenty more people that are very knowledgable, but those people in particular know about making all kinds of products and have tons of explanatory posts about them. IrishLass posts really infrequently here these days, she's busy with other things, I think (why I didn't bother her with the @ symbol) but her old posts are a treasure trove.
