Hello!

I made a double batch of CP soap and for some reason I didn't double my water to lye. I later realized this after I poured my lye/water solution with my melted oils/butters in a pot, so I added the other half of water directly to the pot with the hopes that the batch still comes out ok.

Would there be any issues by doing this? What could happen to the soap?

Thanks in advance!

As long as you had enough water to completely dissolve the NaOH, I think you should be fine.
