Up until now, I’ve had mostly bad luck with colors and soap. This past weekend I decided to try a simple swirl for an oatmeal lavender soap I was working on. My intention was to keep the batch mostly it’s own natural color, but to add a few purple swirls in and around the center. As far as I’m concerned, mission accomplished! I can’t wait for this one to cure.

Looks great from here!!

Noticed you did a loaf mold. It would be interesting to see the same thing done with a slab mold and see the difference
 
Thank you, everyone! Sounds silly but I finally feel like an actual soaper after this batch. My recipes are coming together slowly and the end product is finally starting to come out exactly as I intend. There are still obstacles, but y’all have helped me overcome so much, whether you know it or not! Again, thank you!
