Cost of coconut oil

I usually get my coconut oil from Escentials but I've been checking prices today. What's with NDA charging $275 for 25 litres? They obviously don't want to sell any CO. Escentials is $66 for 20 litres. HUGE disparity. :shock:

I think the most I paid for postage on an order from Escentials containing a 20 litre container of CO + a box of various was forty something dollars.

I paid $18 the other day for my order from escentials and it had bulk oils in the order. Cheap as if u ask me. Admitedly I'm only a few hours away but still good value.
Seriously , who would actually pay that for CO....$275 :shock: insane!!

I am surprised that it went down a bit here. We are paying $1.38 per pound if bought in 50lbs. Last time I looked it was $1.67. Just in case you wanted to know US prices!

Editing to put in that the purchase was through Essentials.
I just recieved my soaping order last week, total came to $189 thats in cluding courier, it was $170 not including courier. so under $20

I got quoted for a courier delivery to Sydney for the 20 litre CO ($66) at $26 from Escentials.
Heirloom has 20 litres for $100, not sure on postage.


Escentials -$92 with postage. - $4.60 a litre.
I get 5 litres from Heirloom for $30 - $6 litre but I pick mine up.

$66 for 20L!? Wow!!! I'm considering moving to Oz just so I can soap for cheaper.

here its $160 for 18L and coconut oil is the cheapest oil I use. EVERYTHING is so expensive here.

I'm hanging out for NCS's Soapmaking and B and B supplies range to increase, their shipping charges are awesome
