Faitful Blue Oxide

Hi!

I seem to have the worst luck with blue oxide (and sometimes purple). It tends to morph into other yucky tones. Does anyone know of a brand of blue that they never have problems with? I spend a lot of time planning my colors then they just go all cameleon on me

and I'm searching for a new blue that I can rely on.

Ultramarine Blue is my go to blue and I adore it. No morphing in color in my experience

I too like ultramarine blue. I also like the blues from Nurture Soap Supplies. They don't morph and I haven't had any bleed either

Yep, I have loved all the micas I got from Nurture. They have many lovely blues.

Does anybody find that ultramarine blue fades in time in CP soaps? Mine always seems to pale out somewhat.

I presumed it's the high pH environment and I still use it..I just have to use a bit more to get the color I'm aiming for.

Maybe it's just lightening a bit as it dries during curing time?
