I made a coconut and lime yesterday, looks great but fragrance morphed and it stinks. I made a cherry amaretto tonight, it's still in the fridge and so far smells divine. :D

    Chemical smell?

Thank you all for your replies, :) I bought the coconut FO from Gracefruit and it was especially for CP soap so I'm hoping it isn't the problem. I'll wait and hope the 'stink' cures out and that it was the coconut milk's fault

How much did you make the first time?

I still make more or less the same size batches as when I started - roughly 2lb's, I weigh mine in grams (more accurate imho) which roughly equates to 900 grams. One of my other molds holds slightly more so I make a 1kilo (1000 grams) batch for that one. :)

Repost I'm sure, sorry, I searched a bit.

I don't know if this is a viable option but Gracefruits in the U.K. do a vanilla bean FO and it's supposed to not discolour at all. I haven't tried it personally but I buy the majority of my FO's from them and they are the only company I've bought from that have a 'reliable' description of the...

    Dried lime zest?

Is there any reason as to why it couldn't/shouldn't be added to CP soap please? I had a surplus after making a key-lime pie and, after drying it out, thought why not add it to my lime-coconut soap? :)
