Hubby and I were driving past a lovely winery near where his parents live, so I dropped in and bought some local wine. So I turned it into soap :D The only scent I had onhand that reminded me of wine is Cranberry Fig FO I added some cocoa butter to this batch, thanks for looking!

Im so glad they insured you! :D I was enquiring to them and they said they wouldn't cover me :? Because my soaps aren't 100% natural, I use fragrance oils and colours etc as well as essenial oils. Did you have any problems with this aspect? I'm still confused as to why they wouldn't...

I went abit honey happy :oops: it just started to crack so I whacked it in the fridge, hopefully its saved My question is (err silly :oops: ) the honey is still abit sticky on the top, is there anything I can do to harden it? Maybe pop it in the oven? I may have used abit too much :oops:

Re: Wow! I didn't know... No colour comes through at all as its natural, the silk reminds me of really fine hair. I purchased 50 grams from ebay and it will last a lifetime!

I love using Tussah silk! I put in in every batch now..thanks to the lovely people of this forum! 8) I use about the size of a cotton ball in a 1kg batch, cut into miniscule pieces into the liquid

I hope this isn't a silly question :oops: I use palm oil in all my batches, can you replace palm with just PKO? I did read somewhere that is creates a nice hard bar I use palm up to 30% Thanks for your help! :oops:

I hope you don't mind me posting my photo of carrot soap I used 100% carrot juice as the liquid and added alittle pureed carrot at trace...was amazed at how yellow it came out! I didn't have much in the way of scents, so I used Guava and Cucumber FO...smells quite nice!

Great, thanks! I was worried this batch was going to spoil Its all wrapped up at the moment, I'll post some piccies in the next day or two. It was meant to be a funnel swirl but it traced so quickly! :shock: So it was just a swirly mess
