Just wanted to share my current favorite oatmeal recipe!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1/3 cup milk powder (or whatever makes 1 cup of milk)
1/4-1/2 cup dried cranberries (I never measure these!)
1 cup of water
big spoonful of peanut butter

I add all except the peanut butter into a large, microwave-safe bowl. Nuke on half-power for 5 minutes. Once the microwave is done, stir in the peanut butter and eat!

It's so yummy. The peanut butter adds just enough salt without leaving the salt undissolved. I've also made this with Nutella instead of peanut butter, and that is divine!

At first I thought this was a soap recipe and I imagined whole brown cranberries in a bar of soap...but as oatmeal it sounds really delicious! :) I'm gonna have to try this one!

Agreed :) Cranberries, especially whole, wouldn't go over very well in soap :) Can't wait to try them in oatmeal.
My dad was recently telling me that he made pancakes with fresh cranberries and walnuts too.

I haven't made pancakes in a while... Not sure why, other than it's not easy to scale down the recipe enough for one person, and they don't freeze/reheat well for me.
