Aside from those tacky little pine air fresheners for car interiors, pine fragrances don't seem to exist anywhere! Surely there has to be some kind of pine-scented oil suitable for soapmaking, one that doesn't contain irritating turpentine compounds?

I don't know if you havea GNC (General Nutrition Center) near where you live, but I bought a bottle of balsam fir needle oil for like $3. It smells good and I didn't have to use a lot.

NG has a Balsam that is TDF. I love it. Mix it with Cinnamon Bun and a touch of Macintosh Apple and call it Reindeer Poo - it sold out for me every time, around the holidays. :)

I have a few different ones at home that I love!!! One is actually an EO mix. I will let you know where I got them later when I get home.
