My SIL and I made our very first batch of CP soap today! We had a lot of fun! :D

Where should we cure our soap?

I have a basement that is a bit dirty and I'll be having some construction done down there pretty soon, but it's cooler than upstairs. There are some wire shelves if I move some things.

The top of my bedroom closet maybe? I have wire shelving in there. I could line it with waxed paper or that plastic craft mesh stuff. Will the soap scent our clothes? Will anything drip?

I also have an empty wire drawer in my closet that could be pressed into service.

I have wire shelving in my master bathroom closet. It's fairly large, so the bathroom rarely gets really steamy. We usually keep the closet door closed.

Once my basement is finished, I'll make a curing area on wire racks or drawers in a closet, but until then, I'd love some advice.

Thanks!

I'd steer clear of anywhere dirty or dusty.
As far as the closet, as long as their's good air flow, it should be good. Your soap may scent your clothes, nothing permanent though.
