I am new to making CP bar soap. I'll appreciate if someone explains this to me. Wheat germ oil is rich in vitamin A, D, and E. Because of these vitamins, especially vit. E, wheat germ oil is used as preservative. The question I have is that, does the vit. E in this oil preserve its own wheat germ oil?
Question 2: How do I use wheat germ oil as preservative? Do I use it as a portion of the base oils? Or do I mix it at trace? How much do I need for a 16 oz oils batch?
Any reply will be appreciated.
Thank you.

This is interesting! I'm wondering about preservatives also. Hopefully someone will chime in. :D
