What does this mean?

I've just started, but like to make my own recipes after researching.

Has anyone seen these patterns in soap before or have an idea what they could mean? The outer ends of the loaf don't have this.

It looks like glycerin rivers. This usually happens when the water content is high and the soap goes through gel phase. It’s purely a cosmetic issue and, in the case of your soap, really looks cool!
