What do you mix your soap in?

I use one of those smaller type canning pots. It's granite or porcelain lined maybe?

Be careful with those. I don't remember exactly what this person used, but over time their inside of the pot started to flake off.

i actually was using one of those (the black type w/ white dots) and never saw any problem (all the batches are fine) until i need to use it to mix lye and water. I think the old ones use to be stainless steel covered w/ the granite but now i think they are mostly aluminum. well when mixed the water and lye, it was obvious that there was expose aluminum. i had to dump it and start over.
