So I haven't posted anything for a while because I've been super busy with kids but I managed to get this batch made on saturday. It smells really great if I do say so myself :) It's sweet orange and spanish lavender with tussah silk. Can't wait to use it!!!! Thanks for looking :)

Those are beautiful :)

I have never tried combining Sweet Orange and Lavender, but perhaps it is time that I did.

What proportions do you suggest ?

Well, isn't this Vincent van Gogh's "The Starry Night"?

You did a fabulous, fabulous job.

Take care,

Thank you all so much!! And MagiaDellaLuna I used 1.5 tbsp sweet orange EO and 1 tbsp spanish lavender eo in a 32 oz batch. I used a bit more orange because spanish lavender is quite overpowering. It's definitely one of my favorite combos as well. And April, thank you so much for comparing my "art" to Vincent Van Gogh!! I think you have just named my soap :)

Thanks, Vonna. I am going to try it as soon as I get my new supplies.

Well spotted to April. "Starry Night" is exactly how they look.

That is gorgeous soap Vonna and I love the scent combo. I have combined may chang and lavender 3:1 - never thought to try sweet orange.

Tanya :)

This also sounds like a nice blend :)

Will have to try this too.

I have only used May Chang with Ginger and Patchouli.
2:1:1

This is one of my most popular blends.
