Whoever said they liked the look of their bars without so much of a water discount was right. A recent batch thickened up so much on me so I added 1 teaspoon water (1 pound batch) and then it got nice again and poured smoothly. I think I'm going to do this as a rule: do about 28% water to oils amount and then add water if needed.

I prefer when my soaps don't harden so goopy on one side from too thick of a pour. I use lined boxes right now but I guess when you have a professional mold that turns out tall loaves the top can be uneven because you're cutting them 1 inch thick not 3" each? I hope this makes some sense!
 
You add water to the finished batch of HP after its finished cooking. Do you do oven process HP or crock pot
