I am working on building shopping charts and other scripts that I usually use for my web pages so that the blind can use the site. This is a pain in the butt I tell you. I usually use a mix of java script, php, sql, xml, and also use frames in my pages. Alot of these things do not work with the software that the blind would use (readers, and brail systems). So I am fighting trying to come up with all of these things so that EVERY ONE can access my site once I get it fully functional. This means making sure my pictures have alt names, links describe what they are for, I don't use frames (I hear they can read them with new software now though), I have a good site map available, and much more.

Have any of you ever done this before so that they can access your pages better? What steps did you take? Do you know of a good webpage that will help me out with this?
