Does anyone know how the soap calculators handle trans fats?

For example:
C18:0 is steric acid
C18:1 is oleic acid
C18:1, n-9 is elaidic acid, a trans fat (produced during the hydrogenation of soybean oil)

Specifically, I’m wondering if elaidic acid would be included in the oleic acid category.

The soap calcs I'm familiar with don't make a distinction between cis and trans isomers. They'd both read as oleic acid to the calcs. I don't think there wouldn't be any measurable difference between the two as far as soap making goes, but that's my opinion, not fact.
