Total oil includes fragrance?

Hi

When you mix all the oil then you add the lye solution then the fragrance, doesn't the fragrance oil skew the oil:solution ratio and one should increase the solution above what SoapCalc calls for in order to have a complete saponification?

No you don't add the FO to your total oils to get your lye. FO is synthetic and unlike your soap oils won't saponify like them. I use soapcalc which has a section for calculating how much FO to use for your batch. But generally you can use .5 to 1 oz FO ppo.
