Perhaps this had been asked before but I was wondering, is there a best method for superfatting?
I've seen some people who build it into the recipe and some people who just add extra oil/butter after coming to emulsion/trace.
I have only ever just added a superfat percentage into the recipe when I calculate my lye but I was wondering if you didn't do that and then added your superfatting after trace etc.. can you better control which oil/fat are not turned into soap?
Thoughts?
