Superfatting.

Perhaps this had been asked before but I was wondering, is there a best method for superfatting?

I've seen some people who build it into the recipe and some people who just add extra oil/butter after coming to emulsion/trace.

I have only ever just added a superfat percentage into the recipe when I calculate my lye but I was wondering if you didn't do that and then added your superfatting after trace etc.. can you better control which oil/fat are not turned into soap?

Thoughts?

The only way to control what oil remains as SF is to add it after the cook in HP.
In CP, the lye will take what it wants regardless of when its added.

Obsidian is right. But even if you are doing HP, you still put the oil into the lye calculator.
