Was flipping through a soap book (Natural soap by Coss) and It says you can make liquid soap by pouring boiling water on shredded soap at 1:3 with a tsp of glycerine per pound. Anybody tried this?

I just did this a few days ago, but with slightly less water. The finished product was quite thick (... think "baby poo"... ... I know... I know...), but it did work quite well. I added some to my daughter's bath water and it produced "some" bubbles - not overwhelming by any means, but bubbles none the less. I'll likely use it as a liquid hand soap instead.
