Soap glue???????

Does anyone know of anything that will act as glue for soap?? I do not want it thick or noticable after drying. I want to use it to place salt on top so that it looks like glitter. Thanks

Just sprinkle the salt on top when you've poured your soap.

I use vegetable glycerin to mix with colored powders and paint designs on my soap; it's clear, dries well and I'm sure it would work well for you.

Thanks about the glycerin. I will need that in the future. But the part of the soap that I want the salt on, is the bottom of the soap mold and I do not want salt on the whole thing.

what about a very thin clear MP? brush it on with a paintbrush then sprincle with salt after it is tacky?
