I made a Lemon Poppy soap that I LOVE but I underestimated the “slight” discoloration that was noted. I thought I could combat it with plenty of TD. It worked initially but the tan started to creep in. I’m ok with it—it smells wonderful—but the discoloration completely goes away in the shower...That’s so odd lol.
Is that a thing? I’ve never seen that before... Also if you happen to know of a lemon pound cake, bakery type of lemon poppy scent that doesn’t discolor and STICKS I would love a recommendation. 😊

it's because you are exposing the unoxidated portion of the soap. Let it sit again after using it, and it will eventually discolor again.

If you were to take an bar that is unused (and has the discoloration) and cut it in half I bet you would find that the middle portion has not discolored.
