Pine tar failed?

I made my first pine tar soap. Didn't do my research and poured the tar in too early (far before trace).
It kind of looks funny.
Question: is it still useable or should i rather throw it away?

I think it looks great. For your first batch of pinetar soap. You should have seen mine. Lol.

I was so disappointed that i made a new batch. Which looks better but also a bit cracky

That second batch looks really great! The cracking is from overheating. If you see it happening, elevate and uncover the mold, and put a fan on it. And when it is still warm, try to push it back together by pressing on the sides of the silicone mold. Or run a wet spatula across the crack to smooth it.
