Hello everyone! I am retired (for a year). I have been interested in soap making for a little over that time. I have been buying hand made soap locally and it has helped everone's dry skin.
Soooooo....Hubby and I made our first batch of plain soap late last week. We were so proud the next day when it popped out of the mold, it was so beautiful!! The next day we made a batch with orange/clove oil and turmeric and cut up chunks of the basic bars. It turned out well, too.
So today we made a one pound experimental bar of honey, oatmeal, cinnamon. It looks good in the mold, I guess we will see tomorrow.
I can see that this board will be very valuable to us in the future.
I love looking at everyone's pictures, and I will post some of my own.
I have been bitten by that soapy bug!!!
