My soaps are quite yellow naturally. I use palm oil, olive oil, castor oil, and coconut oil. I've seen lots of pictures on etsy where the shops use the same ingredients but there soaps look more white. Am I doing something wrong? How can I achieve this?

I don't use palm oil so I don't know if that's a yellowing oil or not. But some olive oils can make soap more yellowish. I use 40% EVOO in mine, and mine are pretty white if I don't add any fo's to them.

My palm makes a white soap. I've heard of some that is more yellow.

Do you use refined or unrefined palm? Virgin palm is orange and it can make your finished soap look anywhere from pale yellow to bright orange depending on how much you use.

Some soapers use titanium dioxide to whiten up their soap mixture.
