My first question is scales.

I was looking a scales and adapters. I'm thinking about KD-7000 or KD-8000. I've been running recipes (from books and boards, not my own) thru calculators, just so I can get a feel for each calc and how they work. The 8000 has a bakers feature. Has anyone tried using the bakers % on a soap recipe, and anyone have a problem with the 8000?
