Does anybody feel like their M&P soaps are tacky in the shower? I’m getting my soap from Brambleberry. In the shower the soap feels tacky on the skin but when you’ve dried off skin feels nice. Just curious if that’s a property of certain M&P’s or if I’m doing something wrong. Seems to be more so with clear soap bases rather than the goat/shea/white/etc.

That's been my experience when I've tried MP in the past. I could be wrong but it may be the nature of the soap itself. I've only used a couple different companies though so not an expert. I pretty much only use MP for embeds once in awhile.

Usually the clear m&p is synthetic base and the goat, shea, white etc is an actual soap base, which can lend to a different feel.

The synthetic base is great for the folks that cannot use lye soap. Yes there are some including one of my kids
