I don't live in the US, but use to have a butcher shop here. Just take it back ask for a refund or exchange, then talk to the manager about the package being under weight If you don't get any satisfaction report to your relevant authority of weights and measures to investigate, it might be a one off, you won't know if it's not reported. You have to be sure your scales are calibrated correctly, shops usually have theirs checked regularly.

Looks like you have edited your post and deleted your original question about getting underweight mince from Walmart, with a photo of it on your scales and you were wanting to know if others had the same issue. So my reply to you was the above post.
