Hi folks.
i am beginning my journey into getting legal with selling soap. Part of what i do is used foraged products such as seaweed or my homegrown mushrooms in soaps. From what i have seen i am not clear if this would be allowed or pass the certification needed to sell my soaps legally.
Does anyone know or have experience with sending off a reciepe to be certified using for example your own dried and powdered kelp.
Any tips on this topic would be amazing.
Thanks

Hiya! I think it would be safer to ask your cosmetic chemist/ assessor. I knew of a lady in Northern Ireland who collected her own seaweed for the soaps that she sold - but best check with your assessor. :)
