I’ve posted this precut picture before. And the conclusion was soda ash. The additional photos are of the cut bars. I used a single wire cheese slicer and I’m thinking what I’m seeing are drag marks?
I’m pretty happy with the swirl. Thin trace and a chop stick 😏

First photo shows soda ash on the top of the loaf. The white ash shows up more clearly on this dark top than if the top was a lighter color.

Last three photos show a soap that was probably too soft to be cut nicely, IMO. Also drag marks from the cutter dragging something hard through the soap.
