Hi all! I'm looking into insurance options for the biz, and I could have sworn that someone here mentioned that most policies don't cover incidences of a certain type of contamination (I can't remember if it's mold or bacteria). I also thought I read that online somewhere and now I cannot find anything.... is there a company that does cover all 3 types of contamination? Or is it all covered by liability?
Please don't think I'm not preserving or not following best practices for manufacturing- I am. But, I'm an "err on the side of caution" kind of person. CYA, ya know?
And, do you challenge test for leave-on products only? Or anything containing water /preservative (bubble bath, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, etc)? I am not ready to sell any leave-on products, but I do have a couple of wash-off products I'd like to offer.
Any insight or advice is appreciated. Thanks!
