I hate Bosco, it's not the drink for me.
Mommy put it in my milk to try and poison me, but I fooled Mommy, I put it in her tea.
Now there's no more Mommy to try and poison me.

My mom used to sing that to me in the car. She's an odd duck.

Anyway, I've been humming that tune all day - I hate lipbalms...

I love Kokum and Palm, but now I can't get them to go right for all the tea in China. They harden up to brittle, crackling sticks in a couple days.

I'm using Candelilla wax, Kokum, Palm, Sweet Almond and Castor.

I had no problems with them being too hard when I used soy or beeswax, but this Candelilla might be the death of me.

I had read that Kokum took days to fully harden, and now I learn that Candelilla takes even longer.

I had my wax at 20%, but I skooched it down to 16 and upped the Palm and Castor to 24.

Anyone have any pearls of wisdom concerning lipbalms.

Thanks for the great link!

I'm getting closer to a good base. I added some carnauba to the candelilla and upped the liquid oils.
